Just watching some of these new cars come out, it really is a great time to be a car person.
Big makes changing the game, little companies making waves (Icon, Tesla), electrics and hybrids, affordable supercars, cheap sportscars, ridiculous hypercars, a return to RWD (or at least AWD for some brands), small BMWs, Mustangs with IRS, safety, Blipshift, getting Orloved, fuel economy, gadgets, power, looks, the Morgan 3 Wheeler, car movies in Blu-Ray, hi-def digital imagery and video available at our finger-tips, nostalgia and modernity cohabiting.
The manual may be dying, gas may be pricey, and there may be too many people on the road but - frankly - this is just a lot of bloody fun right now. The good times will most likely not continue forever, but I'm going to enjoy them while they do.

I dunno...the colored lines I'm seeing in the preview on the Oppo FP is actually rather meta.
